Eyeglasses collection - Hong Kong, 2016
The collection “Timeless Contemporary” for Ross & Brown is inspired by past classic forms, that have made this object not just a tool for a better viewing or sun protection but a way to express the personality and style of the wearer.
Mandalaki has revisited these classics, reinventing them using innovative materials and colour combinations. Each style recalls a city or a place at a particular moment in time. Today, Ross & Brown products are sold in the most exclusive boutiques and finest optical stores all around the world including: Harvey Nichols, Lane Crawford and American Rag.
Mandalaki has curated the whole corporate image and identity for the 2018 brand’s communication. Through a deep work of moodboard research related to lifestyle and inspiration, along with a graphic study specific for the client, we produced the brand identity material such as glasses design, catalogue, business cards, and related communication supports.
As an extension of company’s communication program, Mandalaki is following the R&B Journal, an editorial project not necessarily related to glasses, showing stories and characters that bring inspiration to the Ross & Brown world. For this project, Mandalaki has realised the graphic layout, the web development, and user experience.
For the 2018 advertising campaign, Mandalaki has coordinated and supervised the most part of operations: after defining the collection mood and campaign concept, we followed the model casting, chosen the locations and cooperated for the photography shooting.
